Mail or f-mail !!

got this in the morning... thought i would share this with friends.... ******************************************************************** Dear Friend., My name is MR.AHMED FASSOU I am the credit manager in one of the must influential and top bank here in the Republic of Benin. I am contacting you of a business transfer,of a huge sum of money from a deceased account. Though I know that a transaction of this magnitude will make any one apprehensive and worried, but I am assuring you that everything has been taken care off, and all will be well at the end of the day. I decided to contact you due to the urgency of this transaction. PROPOSITION; I am the account officer of a foreigner who died in an air crash along with his wife on the 31st October 1999 in an Egyptian airline 990 with other passengers on board. You can confirm this from the website below which was published byCNN.WEBSITE.http://www.cnn.com/US/9911/02/egyptair990.list/index.html Since his death, none of his next-of-kin are alive to make claims for this money as his heir, because they all died in the same accident himself and his wife(May their soul rest in peace). We cannot release the fund from his account unless someone applies for claim as the next-of-kin to the deceased as indicated in our banking guidelines. Upon this discovery, I now seek your permission to have you stand as a next of kin to the deceased, as all documentations will be carefully worked out by me for the funds (US$35,000,000.00) to be released in your favour as the beneficiary's next of kin. Because after six years the money will be called back to the bank treasury as unclaimed bills and the money shared amongst the directors of the bank. So it is on this note i decided to seek for whom his name shall be used as the next of kin/beneficiary to this funds rather than allow the bank directors to share this money amongst them at the end of the year. It may interest you to know that we have secured from the probate an order of mandamus to locate any of the deceased beneficiaries. Please acknowledge receipt of this message in acceptance of our mutual business endeavor by furnishing me with the following information if you are interested. 1.A Beneficiary name? In order for me to prepare the document for transfer of the funds in your name. 2. Direct Telephone and fax numbers. For our personal contact and mutual trust in each other. I shall be compensating you with 25% on final conclusion of this project for your assistance, while the balance 5% for expenses and 70% shall be for me and my colleaques Because I intend to retire after the conclusion of this transaction. If this proposal is acceptable by you, please endeavor to contact me i mmediately through my home or office telephone numbers listed below and above you ca also send a mail to my personaly email address. Do not take undue advantage of the trust I have bestowed in you, I await your urgent mail to my personal Email:ahmedfassou@yahoo.com i am waiting for your telephone call Regards, MR.AHMED FASSOU EMAIL:ahmedfassou@yahoo.com TEL:00229 28 42 19 ******************************************************

Hey there Bloggie booooo!!

I am sorry I am not being able to write the things that I have in my mind. I am dying to but my behind is on fire.. so will be back as soon as I finish my French exams and then my deadlines... WAAAHHHHHHH ( thats me running around pulling my hair in frustation) its like a pendulum... study work study work study work... and to make things work I somehow relish the fact that I am busy with no time to breathe... hehe !! Typical Gemini I guess.. will be back with a biiiig write up... By the way watched Harry Potter and found it pretty cute.. Graphics was cool. Story was great and these guys have grown.. wish they had made the whole series at one shot like "Lord of the Rings". Charas is a good movie very stupidly made.. good concept and good story but badly managed... dialog delivery sucked and the songs were good but the picturisation was not that great.. my mental record is stuck at Bam Bhole.. which is a la Zeenat Aman .. Dum maro dum song... pretty hummable.. and most of all they have not taken care of basic facts like while riding one should wear helmets... yeah yeah ... that was the first thing that I observed... hehe !!! well as they say anything is possible in Hindi movies.. so thats that... Planning to catch Hum Tum but havent been able too.. coz this weekend was dedicated to friends.. which was kind of fun .. as could be imagined. Met blogger Reiya who was down in Bangalore from Mumbai.. even after having called and fixed up the meeting it was sometime before we could recognize each other.. Gave her a ride in my old bike.. seems that it was her first ride...it rained heavily but we I loved meeting this young lady and having lunch with her and it was a time well spent.. and in the process making her late.. Hope to catch her when I am in Mumbai.. So even though I thought I would end at one line, I have managed to write some junk... yeaaa to me !!!! hahah 1! This weekend the gang is going to Devanadurga Hill and have some fun.. but I have to stay and study... boo hooo !!! but heck some other time maybe !! My fellow bloggers, please excuse this temporary absence of mine but will peep in surely as and when I get to have a peep !!! WHEW !!!

Pouring down the drain

Rains in Bangalore had always been pleasant and I have always looked forward to the showers. But for the past three years there comes one day in the year when it pours like nobody's business and leaves behind casualties.. Last Year it was a Wednesday when this happened.. A whole kennel full of dogs died in Koramangala due to the unexpected showers.. a whole car with family drowned in STM layout when it tried taking a deviation through a half built bridge. They did not know where the bridge ended and where the water started.. the water level was so high.... This time it was May 31st !!! And my how it poured.. The Universe has a way with water sometimes and if the drainage is not well maintained.. one can not even imagine what havoc it causes. Traffic was a chaos .. took us more than 2 hours to reach home.. I could see cars at crazy angles the tyres getting stuck in the mud..abandoned omni taxis on the road... Bikes almost managing halfway and then the engine getting stalling.. leaving both the rider and the bike stranded.. in higher than ankle deep water.... In Jeevan Bheema Nagar... One 19 year old guy stepped out of a bus to go home... and by mistake he stepped in an open part of the drain thinking that there was a footpath like he saw ahead of him... and he got washed away inside the drains with no hope of getting out... his body was found later.. We could see shopkeepers... getting buckets In Indiranagar and throwing water back at the roads uselessly since the water kept coming back to their shops.. One can only imagine the loss they made... And today the Mayor says that this never happened last so many years..have they gone blind as well as stupid. Bangalore has the same drainage since so many years but the population has increased manifold. I sure hope that concerned authorities do something about it... The traffic has been to some extent regulated compared to what it was before the existence of flyovers.. Now it is the turn of the drainage system or else it will be a city where most shit water flows... instead of the city where you have gardens and clean air... By the way the little patch next to my house has been dug some 10 odd times.. I guess the workers dont have any other passtime.. .come rain or shine.. they keep digging .. horizontally, vertically, crosswise... you name it.. they have invented new ways of cutting through earth... God knows how many pipes have to be laid in the name of progress...
